1.0 REQUIREMENT 1.1 Graduate/Diploma preferably in technical disciplines with more than 7 years project experience, and at least 5 years experience in Planning and Scheduling. 1.2 Knowledge of Planning &Scheduling methodology and industry practices. Deep knowledge of industry IT tools (Primavera, MS Project and others). Technical background in planning & scheduling earned through multiple assignments in HO and sites. 1.3 Independent capability of planning work for Medium size project (>50 MM US$). Understanding of EPC sequences, logics, flow of information. Proven experience in construction: familiar with construction contractors' productivity factors. 1.4 Fluent English. 1.5 Acceptable of assignment to project sites. 2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES FOR PROJECT ACTIVITIES: 2.1 Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, project execution plan, proposal/project schedule (including manpower projection plan), conditions of contract. 2.2 Work within the standard planning/scheduling procedures. Ensure that these procedures fulfill client requirements and develop additional project specific procedures where necessary. 2.3 Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures and to ensure that sufficient planning resources are provided. 2.4 Liaise with Client Project Controls personnel as necessary. 2.5 Timely preparation and issue of : Overall Project Schedule Level I Strategic Project Schedule Level II Project Network Level III Schedule Basis Memorandum (SBM) Manpower Projection Plan Critical Equipment Lists/Schedules Progress 'S' Curves and tabulations Man-hour/Man-power histograms Short-term look-ahead schedules Monthly progress report including narrative 2.6 Ensure that all involved parties participate in preparation of items described above and that they agree to their respective elements and approve documents where necessary. 2.7 Produce current physical progress reports and final job statistics. 2.8 Prepare and issue project action reports to Project Manager/Project Controls Manager. 2.9 Maintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition. 2.10 Analysis schedule trends and produce regular forecasts of schedule performance and issues for project review. 2.11 Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant systems operated by other departments. 2.12 Identify and control planning engineering interfaces between FW and any Affiliate or Joint Venture Partners. 2.13 Lead the project control team when assigned to project as Project Control Manager, including schedule control, cost control, cost estimate and document control etc. |
